Hello, my name is Christy Nelson. I am a 6th grade Science teacher at Southside Middle School. This is my 31st year of teaching. My teaching career has allowed me to teach 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 6th grade. Tallassee is a great place to be and is where my husband and I chose to raise our two children. I may be charged with teaching my students Science curriculum but more importantly I want to teach students how to treat one another, how to create good habits that lead to great work ethic, and how to be good humans who will change our world for the better!
