This will be my 36th year as an educator! That's a long time and in that time I've seen a lot of changes in education. One thing that has remained the same is the fact that I still love teaching and my students.

I graduated from AUM with a bachelors degree and a masters degree in elementary education. I live in Tallassee with my grandson Avery, who's in the seventh grade at Southside Middle School, our dog Luci, and our cat Luna. I love watching Avery play baseball, football, and basketball. Some of my favorite things are reading, shopping, watching Auburn football and basketball, and spending time with my family.
