I grew up in northeast Ohio. I have enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Asia.

Having lived in Alabama for 20 years; I started out teaching kindergarten on an Air Force Base. I also taught English at a Japanese high school. After moving to Kansas, I taught 2nd and 5th grades. This year will be my 19th year teaching 3rd grade in Tallassee and It is by far my favorite grade to teach!

I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. We enjoy swimming, going out on the lake, and playing games. I enjoy reading, crafting, basketball, and playing with our 3 dogs. We have rescued many dogs since moving to Tallassee. Currently we have Ferdinand a lab mix, Luna a beagle mix, and Lucy a very unique breed and a cat :)
