Hi! My name is Sydney Knott and I am the music teacher here at Tallassee Elementary School. I received my Bachelor’s of Education in Music from Auburn University in 2022—War Eagle!! While at Auburn I was a member of the Auburn University Marching Band, Symphonic Winds, and also served as a Department Ambassador for the Department of Music.

I love nature and travelling, so when I'm not doing something musical, you’ll usually see me outside doing something fun. I also have three very spoiled kitty cats (Sebastian, Steely, and Phil) that I always have new pictures of to share.

My love of music started at a very young age when I started learning piano. Since then, I have learned several other instruments including the trumpet and ukulele. Music has been and always will be an important part of my life and I am looking forward to sharing my love of music with each and every one of my students.
