Miss Madison Hill is a new 3rd Grade teacher at Tallassee Elementary School! She and her students participated in a national kindness project, and TES would like to showcase Miss Hill and her class for their efforts! Read more about the project below, and enjoy the pictures as well!
An elementary teacher from Oklahoma, Haley Curfman, began a "Kindness Project" with her class back in 2016. They purchased a white dress and decorated it with kind messages, sending it to classrooms all over the world to add their own drawings. The project was featured in articles, books, and on FOX News. However, that dress was lost overseas. Ms. Curfman's 2019-2020 class started the project over again- this time sending the dress to ONE class in each of the 50 States. Miss Hill submitted for her 3rd graders to represent Alabama, and they were chosen! The dress arrived on September 23rd. Miss Hill's students decided to leave their mark by adding the TES latitude and longitude coordinates. Students also chose a small symbol or drawing that was meaningful to them to add to the dress. They were thrilled to represent the entire state of Alabama for this project!
