
TES students had an amazing time getting pumped up for ACAP testing with fun games and valuable test-taking tips. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. Each student received a "Be PAWSitive" test-taking tips pouch filled with goodies to keep them motivated and confident. Special thanks to the THS Dance Team for bringing the energy and cheering us on your support meant so much. We also had some awesome prize giveaways for our game winners.


Mrs. Pescia, instructional coach, is guiding Mrs. Price’s 4th grade class through the stages of writing. As they continue to prepare for the ACAP assessment, these young writers are sharpening their skills, building confidence, and placing their best words forward. Keep up the great work!


Our 2nd-4th grade students will begin ACAP testing next week, and we know they will do their best! Help set them up for success by making sure they get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and arrive on time each day. Check out the image for more details.


Our kindergarten scientists had a blast learning with the McWane Science Center reps. They explored white and UV light, then built creative structures to block the sun’s harmful rays. Hands-on learning + big imaginations = an unforgettable STEM experience!


A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for making the start of spring even sweeter at TES! Our students enjoyed delicious popcorn and refreshing Kool-Aid Jammers thanks to your kindness and generosity. The teachers enjoyed their treats from the “Woot Woot Wagon. ” We are so grateful for all you do to support our school and brighten our students' days!


Third-grade students in Mrs. Lewis’ class celebrated Pi Day with a sweet twist. They measured the circumference of their moon pies, combining math skills with a tasty treat. The activity was also tied to their study of the Lunar Eclipse, making the connection between math, science, and astronomy even more exciting. Hands-on learning never tasted so good!


Pre-K students had a blast taking their teddy bears to the Teddy Bear Clinic, where they were guided by future medical students from the high school. The teddy bears went through physicals and checkups at the doctor and dentist stations, giving our young learners a fun, hands-on experience with future healthcare professionals. Thank you to Mrs. Puckett for organizing this event for our students.
