Tallassee High School's Chloe Baynes received two medals at the state indoor track meet at the Birmingham Crossplex on Feb. 5 and 6.
The THS girls team included Avery Lumpkin, Lexi Love and Baynes.
Baynes was third in the 60 meter hurdles, second in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump setting a new school record of 16'1".
Love was fourth in the shot put with another school record of 29'4".
On the boys side, KJ Love, Ethan Stevenson, Kalib Baker, JaReece Edwards, Michael Moore and Jalen Cobb competed.
The 4 x 400 meter relay team of Love, Baker, Edwards and Stevenson took bronze with a time of 3:40.20, a new school record. Love was sixth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.20. Stevenson finished eighth in the 400 meters.
