The Pride of Tallassee scored Straight Superior ratings at the Daleville Invitational Band Classic on Saturday, September 29 and again at the Southeastern States Marching Band Festival in Troy on Saturday, October 13.
The Concert Choir and Chamber Choir from Tallassee High School also scored Straight Superior ratings at the Alabama National Fair Choral Festival on Monday, October 1. There were 23 choirs in the competition. Tallassee had two of the top three choirs in the entire festival.
The directors of the THS Choir are Amanda Anderson and Michael Bird.
