The SMS Football Team traveled to Holtville on Monday night and defeated the Middle Bulldogs 28-10 to remain undefeated at 2-0 on the year. The Tigers scored on the first play of scrimmage when Joseph Hooks exploded for a 70 yard run. Other backs that contributed were Courtland Roberts, Isiah Hughley, and Jaden McKenzie.
On defense the Tigers were led by the tough play of Hunter Murphy at defensive end and Bry Hathcock at the linebacker and safety positions. SMS will travel to Montgomery Catholic on Monday night to face the Knights.
