Tallassee City Schools and its coaching staff is extremely proud of the wrestling team’s performance this weekend at St. James School. The THS men competed in a field of eighteen wrestling teams, with six Tallassee wrestlers making the finals. “Having that many students make the finals in any tournament is a strong showing, but to have all six win their weight class is unheard of”, noted Coach John Mask. “It was a great day. We had nine total wrestlers to place out of the fourteen weight classes. We are so very proud of each wrestler on the team. Every one of them works hard to be prepared when their number is called.” Congratulations Team!
