The Tallassee City Schools will destroy all special education records of students who are 21 years of age or older and who exited Tallassee City Schools prior to June 2014.
Individuals desiring to obtain their special education records may do so by contacting:

A picture I.D. is required of all persons picking up special education records.
All special education records must be picked up on or before Monday, June 3, 2019.
Today, May 3rd, is School Lunch Hero Day! We would like to recognize our Child Nutrition Staff and say Thank You from the Central Office!
THS students will turn in their iPads May 16th and SMS students will turn in their iPads May 17th. SMS students will receive new iPads next year, THS students will have their same device returned. iPad pickup is July 30th and 31st.

The 9th grade registration parent meeting will be held on Tues, Feb. 26, 2019, @ 6pm in the auditorium of THS. Registration will be held at Southside Middle School. Please come on the date for your last name: March 4 (A-C) March 5 (D-H) March 6 (I-Q) and March 11 (R-Z).

Tallassee City Schools will be open as scheduled Wednesday January 30th, 2019.
Since Governor Ivey has issued a state of emergency, all Tallassee City Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 due to potentially hazardous weather. We will make a decision about Wednesday tomorrow afternoon.

Tallassee City Board of Education will have a Work Session on Thursday, December 6th @ noon. The work session will held at the Career Tech Center.
Tallassee City Board of Education will have a joint Work Session with the City Council on Tuesday, November 27th @ 5 PM. The meeting will be held at City Hall. Tallassee City Schools regular scheduled meeting will follow at 6 PM at Southside Middle School.
