SMS welcomed Mrs. Stephanie Lantz from the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service through Elmore County Extension to provide a lesson on internet safety to our 8th grade students! We look forward to our younger grades receiving internet safety courses over the next two weeks!

Max Credit Union-Sidekick Financial covered a savings unit about "Expecting the Unexpected" with our SMS 6th-8th grade students in enrichment this week! Our students gained valuable knowledge about why saving is so important! Thank you, Mrs. Parker for providing the lessons!

Before testing, all 423 SMS students had Individual meetings with Mrs. Sullen, Coach O'Rear, & Mrs. Spencer to put the icing on the cake for SMS ACAP preparations. We discussed last year's scores, practice test scores, & made goals for the 2024 test! PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION!
