Summer Learning Update from Tallassee City Schools
Do you ever wonder what's going on in our schools during the summer? Learning, of course!
Literacy camp, numeracy camp, credit recovery, credit advancement, and dual enrollment are just a few of the ways our students are engaged in learning this summer thanks to the incredible staff members who make these opportunities possible.
Our students are growing and improving with each day of learning, and we look forward to all they will accomplish as they enter the next school year even more prepared for success!
At Tallassee High School, 58 students are participating in credit advancement, students are earning 75 college credits through dual enrollment opportunities, and credit recovery support is being provided. Southside Middle School is offering a math enrichment camp for rising 4th and 5th grade students, along with credit recovery support for students in grades 6–8. Tallassee Elementary School is hosting an incredible literacy and numeracy enrichment camp for Kindergarten through 3rd grade students as they go "Wild About Learning!"
Summer may be in full swing, but learning never stops in Tallassee City Schools!
